Thoughts on BSB: "Recognised as one of the most competitive championships in the World, the 2008 BSB championship was a testament to this; as always it definitely had its highs and its lows! The 2009 championship I'm sure will be no exception. With the switch to Yamaha for the new season, pre-season testing - understanding and finding the parameters with the new bike, will be critical. Finding a good base setting for the first race will also be important. I'm sure the racing will be as good as ever and I'm looking forward to the season."
An integral part of the race team, Rich provides expert suspension analysis and works with the rest of the mechanics and riders to ensure the bikes have the best chassis and suspension set up for each circuit. He is another motorsport fanatic who brings years of experience with him from time in MotoGP and working for Honda for a number of years. His favourite circuits are Sepang and Brno and he enjoys Supermotard and Waterskiing in his spare time.
